Description
Seeking individual with background designing controls for custom built production machinery looking to join a company where the projects are different every single time. Take on the challenge of designing the controls system of machines including milling, turning, grinding, or other related machine tools as projects require.
Shall design, prototype, test, program, debug, adjust, and modify controls for advanced, custom built production machinery.
Requires experience:
*** Working with mechanical, electrical, and design engineers as a part of a project team working to create solutions to customer needs.
*** Collaborating with engineers, in-house machine building teams, programmers, and technicians during machine prototyping, testing, and final testing.
*** Designing, testing, programming, troubleshooting, debugging, and integrating controls for multi-axis machinery incorporating: motors (linear and rotary), actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, electromagnetic, etc.), sensors (touch and optical based), machine controls (PLCs and HMIs or other IO interfaces).
*** Designing, programming, and integrating network communications systems and applications that go between machines and data collection & reporting systems.
*** Developing schematics, manuals, diagrams, drawings, or other documents including controls, power distribution, and component connections.
