Leading company within Automated Consumer Products Packaging Sytems industry seeks in-house maintenance tech to support multiple PLC and electrically controlled automated systems.

*** Design and develop new machine controls including robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vision systems.

*** Design, implement, and support human machine interface hardware and software for automated systems.

*** Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotic programs, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and control.

*** Coordinate existing machine control modifications to robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vision systems.

*** Maintain all related computer software for machine programming, backup and monitoring including Fanuc Software, DVT Frameworks, Wonder Ware, RS-View, Allen Bradley SLC 505 series, Fluid Delivery, Panel builder 32, and RS Logic 500 and 5000 software.

*** Create, maintain, and update hard copies and electronic data bases; electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs; machine power distribution; and related vendor controls component part documentation.

*** Design and implement relay logic, ladder logic, pneumatic logic and hydraulic logic programs.

Implement RS232, RS422, DH485, Ethernet, DH+, Device Net, Control Net and remote I/O communications protocols.

*** Schedule and complete backups of electronic machine control and robotic programs on set schedule.

*** Implement and maintain data collection system from shop floor processing equipment.

*** Expand and maintain existing plant floor machine control to Ethernet gateways, links, and connections.

*** Coordinate with systems personnel regarding plant floor Ethernet machine drop routing and Ethernet message traffic control.

*** Maintain all sub machine control data highways.
