*** Maintain high-throughput genetic engineering platforms utilized in designing and building custom microbes.

*** Create, validate, optimize, and maintain liquid handling processes on robotic workstations.

*** Extend and maintain production scale synthetic biology platforms consisting of a Computer Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacturing system for genetic engineering.

*** Script automated workflows on large integrated robotic systems, robotic liquid handlers, and using Python, Perl, C, C++, C#, F#, SQL, LabView, and similar.

*** Convert bench top or semi automated into fully automated assays.

*** Execute maintenance protocols and calibration routines for robotic peripherals.

*** Develop Design Of Experiments and implement robotic system qualifications.

*** Implement real time quality control measures into automated systems to track liquid handling performance and detect failure events.

*** Serve as point of contact to the Automation team.

*** Provide technical expertise related to programming automated systems (Beckman FX, NX, Agilent VWorks, Biosero Green Button Go, Dynamic Devices Method Manager, and similar); relational databases including design of data models and facility with Structured Query Language; and similar.
