Assemble parts, components, and related units, into completed automated packaging machines.

*** Read and interpret engineering prints, electrical schematics, manufacturing manuals, and verbal and written instructions to determine necessary assembly of machine.

*** Position, erect, align, level; position sub-assemblies, units, and separate components and integrate their operations; performs fitting, aligning, timing, calibrating, and other operations incidental to the mechanical assembly of the machine.

*** Use a variety of precision measuring and gauging instruments e.g. scale, calipers, etc., to inspect and verify conformance of parts to specifications.

*** Adjust, trim and fit parts to moderately close tolerances.

*** Wire and solder as required following standard methods and procedures.

*** Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material or unsafe conditions to proper supervision.

*** Operate and adjust machines prior to shipping.

*** Assist customers with installation and in-plant Acceptance Tests of their machines.

*** Train customer personnel in operation and maintenance of the machine.
