Major video game company developing the latest title in a successful franchise seeks experienced audio programmer with a background in video game development.

Shall:

*** Create complex audio banks and develop custom tools to load or unload select audio assets timed precisely with gameplay actions.

*** Design and program triggers for music, sound effects, dialogue lines, cues, etc.

*** Develop, program, test, and implement tools to help with audio programming, event timing, state updates, music visualizers, etc.

*** Program and update audio elements including volume, pitch, pan, sample rate, etc.

*** Implement functions from audio middleware (FMOD, ADX2, or similar).

Requires:

*** Practical experience with digital signal processing, scripting and programming for audio events, music, sound effects, middleware integration, sound editing or mixing, etc.

*** C++ programming expertise.

*** Audio programming and implementation of user initiated triggering events.
