*** Provide formal opinions on coverage and legal issues for multiple product lines.

*** Draft claims correspondence including coverage position letters.

*** Provide advice and counsel on litigated files including coverage litigation, extra-contractual litigation, and declaratory judgment actions.

*** Conduct legal research as necessary.

*** Attend mediations, settlement conferences, court hearings, and trials.

*** Provide formal and informal training to all claim staff on legal and coverage issues.

*** Monitor performance of legal vendors.

*** Complete contract reviews and assist in product development.
