The Associate Medical Director is responsible for supporting Medical Affairs activities, including initiating and maintaining relationships with thought leaders (in collaboration with Medical Science Liaison, MSLs), initiation of research projects in support of clinical and scientific strategy, and presentation of key scientific results.

Duties:

Develop and manage a thought leader network, and communications between Study Investigators, and oversee the publication of trial results both at scientific meetings and in peer reviewed journals.

Facilitate cross functional collaboration and act as medical affairs representative with commercial, clinical, safety, legal and regulatory teams.

Qualifications:

*** MD, PhD, PharmD or similar

*** Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information

*** Hands on understanding of the evolving market access and reimbursement landscape, and product portfolio business needs, and associated Medical Affairs strategies integrating these concepts

*** Strong background in ethical evaluation of clinical research projects, and proven ability to conduct medical and scientific analysis and decision-making
