Leading drug discovery CRO seeks Assay Development Scientist with background in biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or similar.

Requires:

*** Advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or similar discipline.

*** 3+ years developing and performing functional bioassays.

*** In depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines for assay design, development, analysis, and approval.

Shall:

*** Develop and optimize cell based bioassays, binding ELISA assays, western blotting and flow cytometry assays.

*** Ensure compliance with standards and report quality anomalies.

*** Conduct testing on in-process, product, stability, and research samples.

*** Write and revise test procedures and SOPs.

*** Assist with process improvements and implementation of new instrumentation.

*** Assist with developing new analytical techniques and methods.

*** Assist in qualifying and validating methods.
