Seeking expertise in NADCAP and AS9100 procedures, standards, and requirements to join a machine shop producing specialized parts for major aerospace OEMs and lead quality audits and document results for external auditors.

Activities:

*** Lead and manage quality audits focused on ensuring activities, processes, and products follow AS9100 and NADCAP standards.

*** Manage First Article Inspections (FAI).

*** Lead Physical Configuration and Functional Configuration Audits (PCA, FCA) of machined or assembled aerospace products to measure 'as-tested' and 'as-built' characteristics against technical documents.

*** Review audit documentation, establish a Product Base Line (PBL), and manage engineering change action documentation for future product or process changes.

*** Review, revise, and manage standardized documentation in accordance with industry regulatory standards.

*** Act as chief liaison to customers, internal quality personnel, external auditors, and regulatory representatives.

*** Drive continuous improvement and monitor performance of engineering, quality, and operations personnel.

Requires four year engineering degree and 3+ years quality engineering experience in a similar role. Must be an expert in AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
