Casualty Reinsurance Underwriter AVP Facultative Commercial Lines General Liability Excess Umbrella Auto _ .

REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSSIBLE

Seeking senior level knowledge of; facultative reinsurance; practices and industry issues; track record developing tactical strategies and business plans and ability to effectively lead, coach and develop the reinsurance placement team and processes.

Shall:

*** Administer all aspects of the reinsurance placement process including supervision of reinsurance staff.

*** Articulate reinsurance renewal strategies to upper management.

*** Enhance and improve coverage through strategic changes to contract wording.

Requirements:

*** At least 10+ years of Direct Reinsurance Placement experience and full management responsibility for the performance and development of subordinate staff with an insurance company or reinsurance broker.

*** Proven track record managing the facultative placement process.

*** Understanding of underwriting and claims processes.

*** Experience spearheading the reinsurance credit quality review process.

*** Track record analyzing contract language changes.
