Create, direct, and oversee implementation of strategy, company policies, and claims processes for entire property and casualty division.

*** Evaluate existing operational plans to ensure growth and feasibility; adjust to facilitate organizational development.

*** Lead development of division strategy and projects, including liaising with underwriting, sales, and product development.

*** Establish Best Claims Handling Practices and monitor service standards for property and casualty divisions.

*** Direct associate management including performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow and organization planning, day-to-day management, hiring and placement, and disciplinary actions for direct and indirect reports.

*** Ensure proper performance, file conferences, complaint handling, technical support and quality assurance for claims division.

*** Govern annual budget, which funds catastrophe disbursement codes, field and centralized claims teams, and new product and innovation expenses.

*** Drive research, development, and implementation of new technology to optimize claims handling processes in accordance with organizational metrics and industry standards, and government regulations.

*** Research and develop new technology to optimize claims settlement through vendor management, quality assurance, training, and compliance.

*** Oversee National Catastrophe Team including developing and coaching direct reports, catastrophe management, and catastrophe response across the enterprise.
